It’s my turn to go but there’s a flashing light and a siren
So it’s me who holds the line for the ambulance to go
And in this moment I know in some one’s little life as big to them as my own to me
Everything just stopped, the floor just fell away

It takes me back down the years
5, 10, 15, 20, 30 years
I’d only gone to the shop for some milk and the paper
When I get back he says I’m sorry you missed the call
And in this moment I know the life that gave me life is gone
